THE TECHY BIT

In simple terms, there are two parts to a Solar PV system. The first part, the PV panels or Photovoltaic Modules sit on your roof or are mounted on a system on the ground. These are linked to an inverter and connected to the electrical system of your office or factory. Whenever it is daylight outside, the Solar PV panels generate a direct electric current (DC) which the electrical system converts into an (AC) current via the inverter. The great news is that this electricity can then be directly used by the electrical appliances in your building, after which any surplus electricity generated is fed back to the grid.
