WHAT IS ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHTING?

LED lighting, the highest efficiency lighting currently available creates the same amount of light as conventional lamps using a fraction of the energy. It’s one of the simplest and easiest measures to save money and energy in your business. Lighting represents on average 25% of all energy consumption, in fact we often see lighting accounting for up to 80% of commercial energy bills. However, many offices, factories and other commercial buildings still use outdated lighting systems as they are simply not aware of the benefits.

THE BENEFITS

LED lighting provides the opportunity to save up to 70% on your energy bills when replacing incandescent lamps with LED. That doesn’t take into account your employee productivity benefits – the World Green Business Council suggests that better lighting accounts for a 23% increase in productivity, which has been backed up by our client’s experience, post installation. An LED Lighting solution can improve the environment with the correct lumens, positioning of the lighting and zoning. With LCS LED zoning solutions, when nobody is working in lit areas, we can cut costs by automatically switching the lights off. Other key and very much overlooked benefits are that LED technology requires limited maintenance and, depending on the devices, the lighting is still at 80% brightness after 50,000 hours usage.
