Stoneware Wheel Thrown Pottery Butter Keeper

The piece is made on the pottery wheel in stoneware clay, a more resilient clay - perfect for functional pottery.

Butter keepers keep butter at a useable room temperature without the need for a fridge (except in very warm weather). By adding water to the outer bowl this makes a seal keeping the butter fresh.

Glazed in a gorgeous green that breaks into a brown over the texture. Complimenting your kitchen and tableware. Featuring a hypnotic swirl on the top. A functional piece of pottery at home on anyone’s table.

The butter keeper stands at approximately 6.5cm tall and 8.5cm wide.

All glazes are food and dishwasher safe. If you do decide to use the dishwasher please remember that dishwashers are brutal places for pottery.
