PACKAGING We removed plastic from our packaging in 2021. Our ecommerce packaging is made from paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council – an international non-profit organization that promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests. QALO mailers are manufactured using 100% recycled paper and are recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable. ANY RING RECYLCLED QALO silicone is 100% recyclable, but unfortunately, many curbside recycling programs do not currently accept silicones. That's why we partnered with TerraCycle to create our Recycle Any Ring program. Simply send in your used QALO rings, and we’ll recycle them for you for free. QALO X PELA The QALO x Pela partnership is rooted in a shared love for the Great Outdoors, and a unified vision for a greener future. When two nature-loving, industry-disrupting teams join forces, innovation thrives. Together, we’ve created never-done-before compostable products that work for active people and the planet. QALO x Pela products are crafted using a compostable bioplastic made from plants. This material produces 25% less CO2e and 65% less waste than traditional plastics, and is 100% compostable. When the time comes, toss your ring or dog tag (and packaging!) into the compost bin, give it a mix, and let the microorganisms work their magic.
