Sustain CPLA Compostable Knife
The compostable knife is made of a bio-plastic called PLA. PLA is made from plants, for example using the sugar in corn – a great renewable resource as it re-grows easily. The knife is 100% biodegradable and compostable after use you can dispose of it with your food waste. Then, have both collected for composting and within 12 weeks they’ll break down into compost ready to be used on the soil to help grow more plants and make more packaging. From plant, to knife, to compost ideal if you?re moving towards a closed loop model.
