Organic Latex Mattress - Cloud 9

Soft and supportive, the Cloud 9 has been our most popular mattress for more than a decade. Your body gently sinks into the plush layers of latex whilst seven posture zones ensure you have support exactly where you need it. Designed to provide you with a slice of heaven each night as you drift off to sleep. Springing back into shape after use, the organic latex we work with is a high quality durable material, allowing the mattress to retain its comfort for years to come.

The Cloud 9 is an approximately 25cm thick mattress with a 15cm latex core and an additional 3.75cm layer of cushioning latex on either side. The 3 layers of latex are encased in a 1cm layer of untreated Australian Downs Wool and hand-stitched into an Organic Cotton and Hemp cover. The wool provides thermoregulation which is a natural property of the material. It has a similar layering design to the Cloud 7 but as it is a thicker mattress, there is more latex for the body to sink into. A lot of our customers have said that the Cloud 9 provides the greatest level of cushioning in our range, which many have found to be soft and comfortable.

Our carbon-neutralised Organic Latex is tested and certified to ensure it is non-toxic, and, being latex, it boasts impressive natural properties such as being anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, dust mite resistant and is naturally flame retardant. We source this from a trusted supplier in Sri Lanka that our company director, Andrew, has personally visited. This latex also features a 7 posture zone support system, is produced using the dunlop method and has both GOLS and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certifications.

The mattress covers are an organic blend specifically designed by TNBC for durability and breathability. The blend is 55% natural Hemp & 45% Organic Cotton, sourced from a supplier in New Zealand that utilises both WRAP and the Higg Index to ensure sustainable and ethical practices are upheld during production. There are no harmful chemicals used during the growth cycle of the cotton and as the growing of hemp is pretty flexible this removes the need for herbicides, synthetic fertiliser or pesticides to aid crop growth. During the fabric manufacturing the factory only use Oeko-tex certified processing agents to protect colour consistency.
