Limestone Floor Tiles

This calcareous sedimentary rock is formed when seashells are lithified. As a result, it tends to form in the warm shallow seas of tropical regions and in places with little detritus.

Generally, it comes in pale colours, although small quantities of mineral substances found in clay, hematite or quartz can alter the colour.

Thanks to its porosity and high resistance to weathering, it can be used as a building material or for making sculptures.

L’Antic Colonial offers an extensive choice of limestone, ranging from white shades, differing grey's, creamy and yellow colours, to its dark models almost black. All of them come in a choice of different formats.
