When you buy ecoegg Laundry Egg Refill Pellets, they come with a bag of tourmaline pellets, however if you do require spare or replacement Tourmaline Pellets for your ecoegg Laundry Egg for any reason, they are available to buy separately. Simply add them to your Laundry Egg with 2-3 bags of white pellets.

What are the benefits of the Tourmaline Pellets?

The black tourmaline pellets weaken the adhesive force between the dirt and fabric whilst the white mineral pellets naturally ionize the oxygen molecules in the water, which helps to lift away dirt without fading colours. The pellets also change the pH of the water, which helps to naturally soften your laundry. These two pellets have been scientifically tested to work together to give optimum cleaning results removing the need for both laundry detergent and fabric softener

Once you’ve used your Laundry Egg for around 70 washes, you can buy Refill Laundry Egg Pellets which allow you to use the egg over and over again. If you switch from liquid detergent and fabric conditioner to a Laundry Egg you can save up to 40* bottles of plastic each year. (*Based on 7 washes a week and 18 wash bottles.)
