Cork is a water-impermeable, buoyant material, taken from the outer protective tissue of the bark of woody plants.
Because of its water sparing, easy floating, elastic and fire-retardant properties, cork has many possibilities of application.
Cork raw material can be harvested repeatedly with a cycle of 8 to 9 years, and one mature tree can be bark harvested more than ten times. Our more common cork products include cork leather fabric, cork wallpaper, cork bags, cork mats, cork yoga sporting goods, etc.
Cork consists of many honeycomb cells, the cell cavity contains resin and tannin compounds, the cells are filled with air, thus cork has very good elasticity, sealing, thermal insulation, sound insulation, electrical insulation and friction resistance.
