Re-usable Glass Straws
Re-usable glass straws
In the beginning, people thought straws were good because they helped suck things up faster and easier without messes. Plastic straws were almost anywhere a drink was served. But soon used plastic straws were found thrown away along streets, on the beach, and even in the waterways. Used plastic straws were everywhere. But it got worse.
Plastic straws were found in the bodies of animals that lived out at sea (like in turtles’ noses). Then something unimaginable and worse was found….the Ocean garbage patch! It was a huge collection (like hundreds of tons) of plastic things floating on the ocean! Someone did some research and discovered that millions of straws every day were being used once and then thrown away. And no-one realised what they were doing. But it got worse.
Plastic was discovered to be toxic and non-decomposable. It was both unhealthy AND not going anywhere, EVER! Slowly conscious people began to respond. A straw was made from glass. A glass straw? Like all those plastic ones you use all day long, but these are non-toxic, can be used over and over again, and they look really cool. What a brilliant idea! Since people don’t want to use plastic straws anymore, people could now get a bunch of them for the family and friends? Please? Pretty please?
How about we work together and spread the word to everyone we know that there’s a solution to this plastic straw problem and make the world a better place in our lifetime? Sound like a good idea? Yes! Let’s do it! So Strawlicious was born and people and the earth lived happily ever after with their glass straws and healthy planet.
Glass straws are free of toxins & 100% Safe
There’s nothing nasty inside this glass. Unlike plastic, glass isn’t a porous material so it won’t leach into your mouth or drinks ever!
Protect your teeth from staining. Enjoy your coffee, tea, and wine in style while protecting your pearly whites.
Straws also help children develop their speech.
Let's take responsibility and stop using single-use plastics. The earth will thank you.
