Ahern Waste Management Services provides a comprehensive waste & recycling collection and treatment service to its customers.

From our purpose built Materials Recovery Centre in West Thurrock we manage a fleet of over 30 waste collection vehicles and operate two waste recycling centres servicing waste producers in the East London and South Essex areas.

We employ over 70 staff across our business, many of whom have significant operational & customer service experience, who can offer advice and guidance regarding the most appropriate collection, treatment and disposal methods for most hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.

As an organisation, we are committed to recycling and landfill diversion programmes and have targeted to achieve a zero to landfill approach for all outputs from our material recovery facility by the end of 2013 (as of July 2012, landfill diversion had reached 91%).

As a long established, independent company we have longstanding relationships with many waste treatment and disposal facility operators enabling us to offer the full suite of treatment and disposal options for your wastes including Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT), Energy for Waste (EfW) and composting.
