Unboxing Our Story…

The Mend is a passion project brought to life by co-founders Prianka Jhaveri, Rishika Reddy and Rhea Kothari bound together by a mission. This mission, simple but of great strength, aims to unbox a greener future for us and our planet by reducing packaging waste, without compromising on quality or creativity.

Covid-19 landed its first punch in March 2020, followed by a truth that hit harder. Days spent inside our homes, ordering supplies and necessities led to boxes and cartons stacking up. Prianka’s last straw (pun intended, please ditch the straws), was when she opened up a significantly huge box, only to find a tiny pack of batteries inside! Now you see where we get our trust issues from?

This enraged us but soon became our inspiration to challenge the norm. After countless hours of research, some ups and downs, and an unwavering love for this mission – The Mend was born.

Recycle

The biggest (and easiest) of the 3 R’s – Recycle your packages! Our waste management partners have imparted some wisdom to us young earthlings:

Separate wet and dry waste.

Encourage your Community to earn some cash (and Earth points) through starting a recycling program in your area. Partner with any WMP in your locality to collect your waste and ensure that it is properly treated and processed.
