Star Packaging commenced its operations in 2002 and it’s an associate of Hirdaramani conglomerate. Today Star Packaging is the market leader in the corrugated carton manufacturing industry in Sri Lanka and the first corrugated carton manufacturer to be both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified by SGS and accredited by UKAS. In addition, Star Packaging is a URSA (Unilever), SMETA 6 pillar (SEDEX) certified company maintaining all good practices aligned with SA 8000, ISO 50001 and ISO 22000.

The production facility at Ranala has a floor space in excess of 200,000 square feet, fully equipped with state of the art machinery.

The dedicated and qualified team at Star Packaging follow rigid standards at all stages of production to ensure that the products exceed the customer expectations. The Company provides packaging solutions to a wide spectrum of industries ranging from garments, ceramic ware, tea, food items, milk products, fruits and vegetables, lubricants and livestock products. In recognition of the service, reliability, and quality over the past few years, Star Packaging has been regularly awarded most preferred supplier status by many local and multinational organizations.

Star Creations, the creative division of Star Packaging is specialized in making promotional displays using corrugated materials. These displays are attractive, light weight and faster to make than the conventional displays made from MDF and other materials. They are also economical, eco-friendly, and easy to dispose of after use.

Star Packaging has expanded its horizons with the Subsidiary in Chennai India and continues its expansion in the subcontinent in line with the goal of being a regional player in the corrugated industry.
