INSEE Ecocycle

Formerly known as Geocycle, INSEE Ecocycle is the industrial waste management arm of INSEE Group – Sri Lanka’s most renowned manufacturer of cement, construction aggregates and solutions, INSEE Cement.

The Company is the only local manufacturer in Sri Lanka to introduce eco-friendly ‘green’ cement whilst strengthening its sustainability footprint through this innovative initiative that enables industries to manage industrial waste.

The concept was originally introduced by Lafarge-Holcim over 16 years ago before Holcim was acquired by Siam City Cement (Lanka) Ltd. The Company totally revolutionized the waste management industry in Sri Lanka, serving 680+ customers as a premium solution provider co-processing and eliminating over 700,000 metric tons of industrial waste over the past 16 years. This operation is carried out at the kiln at the company’s primary cement plant in Puttalam.
