A strong interest in naturopathy and a burning desire to help people maintain and restore good health inspired the brothers to start Hope Naturals LLP in 2011. They began by offering superfoods and supplements that were tailored to each individual's needs.

Over the years, they saw a gap from a holistic health perspective when several studies showed a connection between gum disease and chronic diseases. The brothers believe that any individual with bad oral health cannot be truly healthy regardless of how healthy his or her diet or lifestyle may be. 

Joseph had been eating healthy and exercising regularly but felt that he was not at his best. Not long after, he found out that he had a decaying tooth. Despite treatment from his dentist, his condition did not improve. He visited another dentist, from whom he found out that he had another decaying tooth. He refused the suggested treatment because the procedure was too costly. Instead, he sought alternatives and eventually discovered the benefits of botanical oils as he stopped experiencing toothaches and kept his teeth. Since then, his health had also gradually improved. As a result, DrMint was created to share the benefits that Joseph had experienced.
