White Sugarcane Square Plates

Made from 100% sugarcane (Bagasse). Bleached only in oxygen. (white in colour).

Bagasse is the pulp material remaining after the extraction of the sugar-bearing juice from sugarcane.

Our sugarcane plates have no plastic or wax coating and are a far superior alternative to polystyrene, plastic and paper products.

Leak and oil proof. Microwavable (to warm only). Refrigerator safe.

Packs of 25 come packaged in home compostable brown paper bags, while packs of 50 come in soft plastic sleeves which you can recycle at REDcycle collection points.

Sugarcane is suitable for the home compost and recyclable in kerb-side recycling.

It is suitable for the home and commercial compost. This means they will break down into usable soil via a commercial composting facility as well.

Commercial composting is not widely available in Australia. Contact your council to find out if it is available for you. If you are from South Australia you can notify your council to let them know you are placing commercially compostable tableware in your green organics bin as this service is available throughout SA.
