Water pumping PV system is small scale power generation designed for agricultural, house hold or industrial applications. It is capable of running all types of submersible, centrifugal or deep wall pumping system. A typical water pumping PV system is known by the sum total of solar array size that is required to run the attached pump. Each solar array has a number of solar modules connected in parallel or series. The electrical energy from the entire array is controlled by inbuilt controller or through variable frequency driver. The flow rate is determined by the intensity or radiation of sunlight. Water pumping PV system may be coupled with drip irrigation systems to provide optimized water to fields directly.
