INTRODUCTING PORTFOLIOVPP™ PortfolioVPP™ is used by energy aggregators, electricity retail providers and other service providers to create Virtual Power Plants from collections of distributed energy resources (DERs), including storage, generation and controllable loads. PortfolioVPP™ aggregates these resources across wide geographies via GreenSync’s Distributed Energy Platform. With PortfolioVPP™, traders and portfolio managers can manage portfolios of distributed energy assets, setting manual and automated dispatch strategies that can respond to price movements in the wholesale markets. Contracts between end customers and the service providers are captured in the contracts and settlements systems, enabling portfolio managers to measure and remunerate customers for the use of their distributed energy assets. Fleet management functions enable retailers and service providers to identify assets that are not performing or have become unavailable, and employ diagnostics to interrogate and estimate recovery times.
