Polylactic Acid (PLA)
Polylactic acid(PLA) is a new type of biodegradable material. It uses starch extracted from renewable plant resources as a raw material to produce high-purity lactic acid through saccharification and fermentation processes, and then chemically synthesize polylactic acid with a certain molecular weight. It can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature, and finally carbon dioxide and water are generated. The carbon dioxide produced directly enters the soil organic matter or is absorbed by plants, and will not be discharged into the air and will not cause the greenhouse effect.
