100% natural, made from the fallen leaves of the Areca palm (Betel nut palm tree, not the Palm tree from which palm oil is made!). Leaves are individually cleaned, heat pressed and then trimmed into shape. No chemicals are used during this process and no trees are cut down. Green catering companies love these 100% biodegradable plates - each of which is unique and beautiful. Palm leaf plates are easily home compostable.
