On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) Accreditation Scheme

Elmhurst's goverment approved On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) Accreditation Scheme is open to all energy assessors trained and qualified to undertake energy calculations using Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) software for new dwellings. 

Elmhurst's scheme provides confidence to its members through the quality it provides in helping individuals and organisations to deliver professional SAP Calculation services and new build Energy Performance Certificates. We remain first choice for OCDEA accreditation due to our ongoing development and investment of scheme. 

This investment includes the development of our Design SAP and U-Value Calculator software, which has been used to lodge over 50% of all UK new build energy assessments. The expansion of our dedicated support teams to deliver technical expertise throughout the working week. The provision of free Professional Indemnity (PI) and (PL) insurance which gives members the best chance of winning public sector contracts with local councils, government authorities and larger property developers. As well as the regular supplement of newsletters, technical bulletins and marketing materials to reinforce the professionalism and competitiveness of our OCDEAs within the market.
