Mass Timber

Venturer is focused on the design, supply and installation of mass timber structures and hybrid timber/steel structures. The basic structural members in a mass timber building are ‘Glulam’ (Glue Laminated Timber) and 'CLT' (Cross Laminated Timber).   These components are efficient and light weight structural members, that provide a carbon naegative alternative to conventional materials like concrete and steel.  Today mass timber is on the rise a building material for urban multi-storey construction.  In addition to developing the mid-rise, and high-rise CLT market in South East Asia, Venturer has overseas offices and personnel to support resort construction projects around the world.

CLT

Cross-laminated timber (CLT) is a wood panel product made from gluing layers of solid-sawn lumber together. Each layer of boards is orientated perpendicular to adjacent layers and glued on the wide faces of each board, usually in a symmetric way so that the outer layers have the same orientation.  The composite layup is used as a wall panel, a floor panel or a roof panel in mass timber buildings.

Glulam

Glued laminated timber, also called "glulam", is a type of structural engineered wood product comprising a number of layers of dimensioned lumber bonded together with durable, moisture-resistant structural adhesives.  Glulam mass timber components are distinctly different than a light timber stud bc of its size and its performance in fire.
