About Hyla Woods: For over 150 years, the Hyla Woods family's history has been intertwined with forests. Today, they manage 3 experimental forests and a small sawmill in Northwest Oregon with the goal of developing a better model of forestry and forest-based business. Their forests are managed to provide wildlife habitat, sequester carbon, filter clean cold water, sustain jobs, and produce wonderful wood products.
