EcoPump

The Asxban EcoPump yields at least 500 litres of fully purified, drinking water an hour, all of the qualities that meets WHO standards. Each EcoPump employs multi-stage filtering that reduce diseases by removing waterborne pathogens that can cause diarrhoea, dysentery, cholera and hepatitis. The units can operate from all forms of surface water and groundwater wells.

he pump is fully mechanical and hand-powered, constructed on the basis of proven technology, without using any vulnerable electronics. The use of robust materials gives an expected life span of at least 5 years with normal use. As the mechanical components are assembled in a modular manner, the EcoPump is very easy to maintain and exceptionally user-friendly. Component parts are easily disassembled and made of recyclable materials.

The EcoPump comes with an ultrafiltration module capable of removing all harmful particles and also Asxban’s arsenic adsorption media module to remove harmful arsenic contaminants which are not removed by the ultrafiltration module. The water is then passed through an activated carbon filter block to further polish the water and to enhance aesthetics and to produce pleasant tasting water.
