CASF DuPont™ Corian® Solid Surfaces are non-porous and can be seamlessly joined, making this product suitable for many applications, including bench top surfaces, interior and exterior wall cladding, partition systems, windowsills, backlit effects and a range of other decorative surface applications. Corian® can also be used for outdoor kitchen benchtops and door finishes, indoor/outdoor seating, or as signage.

Corian® is complemented by GreenTagCert™ Level B Certified DuPont™ Joint Adhesive with matching colours for inconspicuous joints.

The scope of certification includes products manufactured at the DuPont Yerkes Plant in USA, DuPont Ulsan Plant in Ulsan, Korea and DuPont Toyama Plant in Toyama, Japan Issues of Concern/Red Lights (if needed) The products have successfully passed the GreenTag Health and Ecotoxicity Risk Assessment Process and no issues of concern or red lights comments exist regarding the toxicity of the products. Note: Sawing, routing, drilling, sanding and and other occupational production activities on Corian® can generate dust. Inhalation of dust may cause health concerns. Precautions for workers such as reducing exposure to product in dust form and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while doing work on the product mitigate potential issues to low risk. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for further information. DuPont™ Joint Adhesive contains chemicals that are harmful to aquatic organisms and may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment if released in liquid form which is unlikely in normal use. This issue relates primarily to the improper disposal of the substance. Disposal of excess product must be in accordance with instructions in MSDS and with local environmental legislation as a special waste. DuPont™ Joint Adhesive product contains chemicals that may cause sensitisation by skin contact with the uncured liquid form. Once cured, risk of skin sensitisation is considered extremely low.
