Bamboo Toothbrushes

Keep those pearly whites pearly white by brushing your teeth at least twice a day. Good advice but plastic toothbrushes create a massive plastic problem, maybe a bigger problem than you think. In the USA 1 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away each year. In Canada 111 million and in the UK its around 26 million. Worldwide the total is around 3.6 billion each year.

Time to switch to a more eco friendly brush. There are 4 bamboo toothbrushes in this pack, 3 adult and 1 childs. The handles are made from sustainable bamboo which is fully biodegradable. Unfortunately the bristles are nylon which isn't recyclable but there isn't really an alternative if you want a traditional style toothbrush. You are still reducing the plastic element by around 90% by switching from a fully plastic toothbrush so its definitely a move in the right direction.
