Almost everything within an indoor environment contains formaldehyde and daily exposure to it causes a long list of health problems.

To combat this problem, Gyproc® designed Activ'Air, a plasterboard with air purifying effect that is able to function and last up to 50 years.

The board consists of an aerated gypsum core with a special additive and is firmly bonded to a sheet of sturdy paper liner.

Application

The Activ'Air technology is designed to be used for both wall or ceiling systems of any conditions that either have been decorated or not. It can be easily integrated into a range of gypsum plasterboard products for reduction of formaldehyde to improve indoor air quality. It is especially suitable for use in residential, office, healthcare and education sectors.
