The TPBI Group’s business was initiated by the Borrisuttanakul family, with their experience and expertise in the production of plastic bags and plastic recycling. The business commenced from a small-sized factory on a leased land in the Sampran area importing plastic scrap to convert into recycled plastic and sold to plastic bag manufacturers in Thailand.

Subsequently, withthe vision of an opportunity in producing plastic bags for export, Thongsin Enterprise Co., Ltd. was established in 1983 and a factory on the leased land in the Rama 3 area was constructed, having the initial plastic bags production capacity of 200 tons per month mainly for exporting to Singapore and the Middle East countries, and the capacity was increased to 500 tons per month afterwards.
