Ammonia generates no greenhouse gases or carbon particulate emissions

Ammonia can replace the fuel used in cars and trucks as it uses converted existing engines, reducing emissions by 60% to 70% and if used with a fuel cell the emissions would be ZERO.

Ammonia is made from 1 Nitrogen and 3 Hydrogen molecules (NH3), Nitrogen is found in the air that we breathe and Hydrogen from the water we drink, as there is no carbon in ammonia there are no greenhouse gases when burnt. 

NH3 is powerful, it was used to fuel the fastest plane the world has ever seen, the X-15 A2 which reached speeds of Mach 7 

NH3 can be stored in a liquid at much lower pressures than Hydrogen, making it much more versatile.

NH3 packs a punch, as it requires less space than Hydrogen, this means a car running on Hydrogen will need to fill up 7 times more often than an Ammonia powered car.  

Fuelling a vehicle with NH3 is the same as using natural gas, safety is still required but ammonia is less harmful than gasoline (petrol) Ammonia will not explode like petrol, making it an excellent fuel for cars and trucks. 

NH3 is made from air and water, this means it can be produced anywhere in the world, making developing countries energy independent. 

Power generation is now an ‘Off-grid’ option as NH3 can be produced on-site in a village or for a single house. There is now no need for oil fuel to be transported around the world with all the environmental impact that can cause will oil spills and drilling rig catastrophes. 

"You can store it, ship it, burn it, and convert it back into hydrogen and nitrogen," says Tim Hughes, an energy storage researcher with manufacturing giant Siemens in Oxford, U.K. "In many ways, it's ideal."
