AFS – ADVANCED FUEL SOLUTIONS, SA is still a young company, although its strategy has been conceptualized for a long time.

Directed towards the investigation and production of high added value fuels, through the use of Forest Biomass, its activity is part of the Renewable Energies sector.

The AFS project adds a new level of innovation, in this sector that is currently so important, through the production of roasted biomass prepared for the manufacture of products with high percentages of carbon, implementing the introduction of an innovative technology through processes of biomass torrefaction.

In a context where Europe has set ambitious targets for the reduction of carbon emissions, the use of biomass in energy generation is essential for the diversification of the portfolio. It is on this evolution that AFS bases its value creation strategy through the availability of new biofuels and technological solutions for the production of torrefied biomass and its derivatives.

Because for AFS the preservation of the environment is a priority, we believe in sustainable development, based on the rational use of natural resources.
